Don’t get put off by the video
I first watched the video on Havi’s front page (Note: she has mentioned taking it down, so if it’s gone, I’m sorry – but I’m gonna do one of my own so stay tuned for that hilarity!) on 30 September and was totally freaked out by it. My eyes couldn’t follow what was happening, it was too fast and too different to what I knew.
I watched it again today (October 12) and this time I could see what each of the arms and legs were doing if I watched it carefully. Not so scary now. Now I’m just determined that one day I’ll be able to do it that fast too!
Lessons learnt
Don’t worry that the experts can do it better than you. That’s why they’re experts!
If you want to compare – compare with yourself from when you started. Now that’s uplifting.
I like her video! It was a bit intimidating, but I like having something to aspire to…. Looking forward to seeing YOUR video!! : )
