And we’re off…
I’ve finally got enough of the site ready to go live, so it’s open for comments!
I’ve a number of back dated posts still to finish preparing so the next day or two will see older posts popping up until I catch up to where my practice is currently at. After that it’ll be new stuff all the way! [EDIT: I've posted all the back articles now!]
I hope you’ll let me know what you think (good & bad) and shout out for anything you fancy hearing about.
See you around…
James

Congratulations!
Looking forward to reading more on your adventures and getting a bigger living room for even better demos
Yey! My first comment – thanks sis!
congrats, james…
may all your posts inspire me!
Loving this James – you are a star… you just need to have a left hand margin
@chas: I only dare hope that one or two may – feel free to let me know if you spot any that do!
@smudger: there’s a margin missing?! Ack! Where? *hunts around* I don’t think I have a spare one lying around! If only I knew an amazing web designer who could help me out!
I’m loving the blog so far! Just got caught up on the back-posts, and now I’m waiting for more! : )
Carole’s last blog post..How to Send a Text or Picture Message from Your Computer to a Cell Phone
@Carole: I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed it – I’m currently recovering from the herculean effort that getting my first wordpress (& hosted) blog up and running ended up being, but will be posting again shortly, I promise.
Awesome! Yay to the new blog!
If I could go back and redo my life with some foreknowledge, I’d push my mother to let me take dance lessons as a kid.
I always wanted to, but in a hockey town it was more than a little suicidal for an 8 year old boy to take dance. It was bad enough that I played with dolls, hated sports and had girls for friends.

@Alex Fayle | Someday Syndrome: Oooh, what kind of dance? (Blech at hockey towns.) I will admit to wanting to play with my sister’s My Little Pony! ha ha ha ha ha! And I got really upset when my primary school were told/told me (who knows, right?) that I couldn’t play for the school Netball team cause it was girls only – grrrrrrr. Who wants to play stupid football (soccer) anyway? And besides, the girls were tougher than me!!
When I was 17 I took a year of modern dance and loved it. All the twisting and odd movements. The only thing that confused the teacher was that I can’t bend at the knees without my heels lifting up. No shin flexibility whatsoever.
After grade one the other kids stopped letting me be on the girls team for frozen tag (when it switched to kissing tag). I couldn’t understand why. I deserved to be kissed by the other boys just as much as the rest of the girls did!

@Alex – Modern dance is such a vague title, I’m never sure that I’m talking about the same thing with different people! I did modern, tap and ballet growing up, but fell in love with contemporary at uni. It’s basically further to the personal expression end of the ballet-modern-contemporary scale.
I can remember playing my own version at secondary school, which involved making the boys I didn’t like run away by being my own one-man team
Mwa ha ha ha ha – the power! Can’t think where anyone got the idea I might be different from
